Now, as an adult, I make this every chance that I get, just so I can have a piece of home on my table.
Some call this dish Blueberry Delight, but my family lovingly calls it "Blueberry Dessert."
You may have had this too...it seems like it's a southern staple at potlucks and church dinners. It has a pecan-filled crust, which is layered with a sweet combination of cream cheese, whipped cream and confectioner's sugar. It's then all topped off with a beautiful layer of blueberry pie filling that beckons you to cut a slice and take a bite.

Blueberry Dessert / Blueberry Delight
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, melted1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
3 cups freshly whipped cream OR 1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling
Directions:
Combine flour, butter and pecans in a bowl and mix well.

Grease the bottom of a 12x8 inch baking dish. Transfer the pecan mixture to the prepared dish and press evenly into the bottom, forming the crust. Bake crust at 350 degrees F for 25 - 30 minutes; cool.
Add cream cheese to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, and mix on medium speed until soft and creamy. With mixer on low, slowly add confectioners sugar until combined well.
Gently fold in whipped topping by hand and spread over cooled crust.
Top with pie filling; chill. Cut into squares and enjoy!
